Thanks. If not I'll order a new kit from Hannants. Luckily it's not that expensive.

I've now applied the decals. They are from Aerocalcas and work very well with the softener I'm using

Hey Bernd, your progress is looking good! And a song came to my mind: "Dont cry for your wing, little Panther..."🙂

Hi Bernd, nice progress and interesting version. I did not know that the Argentinian Navy used also the Panther! Happy modeling, Christian

Thanks! Yes, the Argentinian version has been rare up to now. But I guess we will see quite a few Argentinian Panthers in the future as HobbyBoss put Argentinian decals in the box of their new 1/72 F9F-2: modelingmadness.com/../hobbyboss/87248.htm

Wow, that's really nice! I love it when someone does a common model in an uncommon scheme. Looks like you've added some aftermarket parts to the Hasegawa kit - wheel wells and cockpit detail?

Thanks guys! @Bill: Yes, I used an Eduard PE set (which included the wheel wells) and a resin nose and wheels from Resin Art.

Album info
This is what happens when you try to "un-warp" a warped wing with a hairdryer. Now I need a new wing as a replacement...
The replacement kit has arrived and some serious plastic surgery is under way...
Main build-up is completed as well as the paint job.
I've now applied the decals. They are from Aerocalcas and work very well with the softener I'm using.
