Vesa-Pekka PalmuAfter abandoning the Tunguska by Panda years ago I decided to try this kit. And as with the Tunguska the quality is pretty horrible and there are several errors in the instructions and parts. I also have the Voyager PE set and armed with that and way more experience this kit might be possible but will certainly be a challenge.
Started with the turret and radar and so far had to scratch build part G25 in addition to the errors pointed by themodellingnews.com..nda-hobbys-35th.html

Vesa-Pekka PalmuG12 is impossible to install per the instructions after assembling the large radar, I cut the part into two pieces and threaded it through the radar frame...

Vesa-Pekka PalmuAnd one half of a wheel (D17) is missing, it has been broken of the sprue but is no where to be found :/ Well, time to try some casting I guess...

Vesa-Pekka PalmuMany detail parts around the surveillance radar have fit issues, mostly the locating features don't fit into their slots, easily solved by removing the said locating features. Also even the voyager pe set has a fit issue here, the bracket for the radars stowed position interferes with whatever that downwards pointing cylinder is (H3+H4), the same issue is present on the plastic parts. Solved it by snipping little off from the PE replacement.

Vesa-Pekka Palmuback on this after a summer heat, mostly done with the running gear and about halfway there with the track assembly. The wheels have a real bad mouldline that would require major sanding to completely eradicate, so future probably holds quite lot of mud...

Vesa-Pekka PalmuAnd the tracks are done. ended up with all 4 extra links (after allocating 2 links for the spares carried on the vehicle), so the track budget is extremely tight.

Vesa-Pekka PalmuCalling this now assembled, still tons of small PE parts that I could use but I just want to move on to other kits... And silly me found 5 link test assembly in the bottom of the box, so there are a decent amount of extra track links.
