the local hobby lobby has been keeping a reasonable variety of kits in stock ...I picked up the Kenworth few days ago decided I go get this one too ..saves on shipping.

I kinda like how the dump bed was heated? A pretty neat innovation, at the time. I have yet to get this kit, but it appears that I don't have enough room for many more? However, never say never 😉

I have a few too many kits also but I would still like to get a few more trucks 😉 ..the AMT #1381 International Paystar 5000 for example 🙂

That's a good kit. I enjoyed making it, however the hydraulic ram for the dump bed, needs improvement. And the chrome grill on the hood side, is oriented, the wrong way. Once you get your head around how they designed the interior of the kit, it goes together well. I definitely recommend using metal rod for the hose connections too. The plastic stubs, can't be relied upon, over time.

thank you Bozzer , not sure which truck kit I will start next ..seems the old kits have many flaws

Unfortunately Mona, most have. However, a builder with your skills, will soon overcome any obstacles 🙂 It's just knowing what to look out for, that often helps 😉
