Unusual plane in an even more unusual livery. Very well done.

Thanks a lot for your kind words, Michael. I really like the Alpha Jet and this one in particular. I saw it quite a few times at Wittmund Air Base over the years and finally close up at this years RIAT. A really nice little bird.

Hey CaptGPF, thank you very much for the kind words. It's very much appreciated! 👍

Yep, that's true. But I quit making videos. In started to lose having fun building models with knowing to have editing dozens of hours of footage afterwards. But thanks for your subsription. There are still some very good videos on that channel. 😉

I can only imagine how much work it takes to edit those beautiful videos! Though sad to hear they're won't be any more, I'll continue to enjoy the ones you did post!

Album info

As part of a group build, I built this little jet. There was only one rule: except for decals, it has to build out of the box. Later we softened that rule, in favour for metal pitot tubes.

The Kinetic kit is (let's say) okay. With a little effort it is possible to build a very nice Alpha jet out of it. I decided to build the Top Aces Alpha Jet in their Arctic Aggressor camo, which I was fortunate to see in real during spotting visits at Wittmund Air Base, Germany, home of the Taktische Luftwaffengeschwader 71 „Richthofen" (TaktLwG 71 „R") with their Eurofighter Typhoons.

During the build, I worked again with small magnets to make the payload removable, which will be a new standard for my builds.

Watch the Full Build Video on my YouTube-Channel and give me a like and/or a subscription. I would highly appreciate it. You find the video here: Youtube Video

Thanks!
