This might happen in a near future and serial production perhaps?

Nope. That was a Demonstrator that was showcased in 2018 as part of the future Main Ground Combat System. A collaboration between KMW and Nexter. The new E-MBT is not expected to be ready until around 2035. You can read more here: en.wikipedia.org/wik..Ground_Combat_System

When I heard they would design a new tank I imagined some newer shapes. New hull, new turret.
Never thought they would do some "kit bashing" 😄
But as you said this is a technical demonstrator to show what they are going for.

All that aside, I am very much looking forward to your project. 👍 Seems to be fun and I really like stuff like this.

I guess its something similar to PL-01 test bed. A lighter tank on the CV90 chassis. Maybe the Poles was planing on replacing there T-72s with PL-01. But I guess they just procured more Leopards. And then do there own modification on the with local companies.

I think that the Swedish Army already have some CV90 with 120 mm Main Gun. Or at least some prototype. But "we" already have strv 122C that is a modified Leopard A4s with a lot of modification to the armor.
