This kit was my reintroduction into the hobby back in 97. Build OOB and colored by brush. So I am anxious to which level you lift that little bird.

Impressed with the challenges you have taken on, and clearly successfully dealing with the tiny PE parts.

Good work, but I think 1mm tapes are a bit wide, especially in 1:72. Aizu has nice tapes with 0.4 and 0.7mm, but those are a bit hard to get in Europe, but cheap at HLJ for 1,22€, compared with the prices at Ama... or others:

Of course a cutting plotter is always an option. I made also stripes to mask the area between the ribs to create rib tapes by using of some layers of primer. With pieces already at the correct length that was a relative quick masking job.

I tend to think the same about myself trying to play with PE 1/72 frets. Great work, keep it up, MGs look grand 👍

I'm about to throw the model against the wall. Revell's matt paint gave the model a milky look. One of the struts broke when the upper wing was put on. And the struts on the cockpit don't really fit. I should have assembled it first and then painted it

Album info
I don't know why got the dumb Idea to use Photo-Etched parts with such a small size. I must be insane.
High respect for everyone who can work well in that size.
The PE Parts are not for this Kit, so i think i will use everything I can
I stopped the project for now. I put the model away and may get it out again when it's less frustrating. The current setbacks only make me want to throw it at the wall
