Panzer IV Ausf. G

Some firsts on this one...took a dive into creating a diorama. Think it came out okay ish. The other first was figure painting...not sure I did those poor fellows justice. Kit is a Tamiya Mk IV G (in this case an F2 or 'Special' as the British named it) of the 21st Panzer Division, August 1942 on the way to Alam Halfa. I tried to depict a hurried paint job of a vehicle fresh into Africa with hints of German Grey showing through and poor paint quality.

Well done. the road looks great. For the figures look into using a flesh wash which will bring out the features and shape of arms/fingers etc. It's all about practice, trial and error.
