Made in the 1980's when at University I believe. All Humbrol enamels, brush painted.

Still cuts a sinister silhouette. Hasegawa's offering was best Harrier at the time in 72nd

AoA probe and pitot from Master's range. Replacing the long lost ones from the kit.

The decals have succumbed to the ravages of UV light being stuck on various windowsills over 40-odd years!

Thanks Maciej and others for the "likes", sorry I can't seem to see who else has looked.

Thanks for sharing Andy. Looks like you were very accomplished even then. I did a lot of things whilst at university. Shame none of them involved models. About the closest I got ta Harriers then was watching the Falklands War reports on the news. I have this one in the stash too. Apart from the malnourished nose, I feel its a sharper and more finely moulded kit than the Airfix one even though its about 35 years older.

Modelling was one of my other "extracurricular" interests, along with beer brewing and drinking! (The combination never worked well!!) I note the comment about its nose too, but back then there wasn't the scrutiny-or the community, or the internet!! I had "Warplane" as my reference, a weekly publication that built into 10 volumes. I still have it.

Always wanted to have one of these pointed-nose-jump-jets and never managed to 😛 Following

Apparently Łukasz, Hasegawa's is a little too pointy. It was a good kit in its day, I guess?

Hasegawa was hardly available here and quite pricey.
I used to sigh to the ESCI one, - oh man, just look at that boxart 😛
