Hello, friends! Started a side-project, a bit weekend-type. The kit is a very good oldie from Dragon. Already finished the cockpit - added some wires to the control panel and seatbelts from the Kamizukuri (those are sick - 48 parts in two of them!).

Looking great so far. I've been thinking about building one of these.

Hello everyone! Only two days have passed, and this Moskito is already fit for the paintwork. What can i say - the kit is nearly flawless, I really enjoyed the build.

By the way - an update! After applying the black primer to the whole model, I covered some areas, which to my knowledge were metal on the plane, with chrome silver enamel. Adter that, I made some "wooden" shading and sprayed all the metal and wooden areas with chipping fluid by AK. Next step - building up the main colour.

An update: performed the mottling shding with five different colours. Done it first time, and love the result. Next step - main colours.

An update: applied the camo by freehand airbrushing and also made a border line on top with DIY mask

Cool masking idea for the walkway outlines ! What is the meaning of the „three arrows" insignia ? Is there a story behind it, or just your creation for fun ?

Dmitriy Andreeshchev
Thanks, mates!

Hanno, this insignia was created as a part of my custom paintwork for my Do-335 project (you can find it in my albums). It was meant to represent the original name of the aircraft - the Pfeil (Arrow). I liked the way it turned out, so now I'm using it as my logo.

Right you are, looks real good !

Thanks, Hanno!

An update: painted the balkenkreuzes with diy masks. I've already done only white ones a year ago on my Fw190V18, but B&W blakenkreuzes were new to me, so they came out a bit oversized - still, I'm happy with the result.

An update: the Moskito was treated with the salt technique, after that - washed, then varnished with matte, and in the end demasked. Now onto the final details!

Beautiful work 👍 and rare to see 👍 I have hidden in my Ta 154 the weight of lead in the motor gondolas, it is enough for a safe stand

Nice TA-154. I have one also, I think I will have to build it soon.
