No, the instrument decals came from the Wolfpack T-2C kit. Since I bought a set of Eduard photo-etch to do the instrument panels and consoles on the Wolfpack model, I figured that I would use the decals from that kit on the Matchbox kit. Yes Maciej, It will be a Greek bird. I love the camouflage scheme of their aircraft.

Thanks all for the comments.

Hey, Kenneth where did you find the Pactra Acylic Paints? Back in the day when I got back into modeling I used Patctra Paints and really liked them. I wish I could still use them but I can not find any. I liked there bigger bottles. I have a few Matchbox T-2C in my stash and after seeing what you did with one I need to do mine.

Hi John, thanks for the kind comment. I bought mine back in the late 80's from a hobby store called Hobby Emporium. They used to be in Nashua, NH, but moved to a strip mall in Tyngsboro, MA, just down the street from their previous location. I had been out of the hobby since the early 90's, but when I got back in a few years ago, I went to my folks house to clean out a basement room and found a box-load of Pactra water-based acrylic enamel paints. What really surprised me is that they had not dried out. A bigger surprised was how well they sprayed after thinning with Testor's Universal Acrylic Thinner. What a pity Testors bought them out and discontinued them.

Hey, Kenneth That is like finding gold in your basement. That is sad that Testors did discontinued them. Just like Polly Scale Acrylics and the Railroad Colors were also very nice paints to use. I still have quite a few Polly Scale paints and still use them. When I got back in to the hobby it was 1991 and the Pactra Paints were the first acrylics paints that I got. I had a good selection of Pactra's Paint but have used them all up now. I use Model Master and my supply of Polly Scale and Railroad Colors Arcylics paints for all of my work.

Simple interior, but lovely result. What is this beige lputty-like thingy you use for masking?

Very nice. I like especially the clear sharp red and white stripes.

Thanks for the kind comments guys! The beige putty is a product called silly-putty. It has an interesting history, as it was being developed as a replacement for rubber during WWII, but didn't quite work out as intended. It had other interesting properties and has been sold in stores since the 1950's. It comes in a red egg and I buy mine for $1 at Dollar Tree stores here in the USA. It's very workable stuff. I thinks probably very similar to a product for modelers called Panzer Putty.
