The Marder
Hull & turret ready and primed.
I used almost all of the Extratech PE on this, however I left some rails because the flatness of the PE was no better than the plastic.
Some PE, some original railguards. I didn't want to spend too much time soldiering wire, they look good as they do.
Again: I left the kit's lamp guard because it has in my opinon better dimensions. I replaced the blinkers (I suppose) and mirrors.
Some turret details. It's a little shame that nobody does the metal barrel in 1:72.
Side skirts, tow cables and Link & length tracks. I preassembled the curves and hope it will all come together...
MILAN launcher (a real pearl and great Revell engineering in this scale) and the MG.
Yes, I did replaced the MG's plastic, rather fat and ugly barrel with a metal one.
The Marder is finished (some time ago).
I'm quite happy with the overall result, the tracks were - as usual - a little pain to assemble correctly.
I didn't weather it much, mostly due to the scale. It's quite dark anyway.
Although there is no main gun barrel replacement, it still looks surprisingly well.

Wojciech KuczaThank you all very much 🙂 I must say, I like those Revell 1:72 models, because they pack quite an impressive set of details for the scale - even without the PE parts.

Patrick HagelsteinReally nice! And I agree with you, when it comes to 1/72 scale Bundeswehr vehicles, Revell is unbeatable.
