I could not find a picture of an sWS with a winch, but at least this one has it fitted 🙂 . It seems highly unlikely that the steel cable just runs through a hole in the rear frame, so I used a couple of unmentioned parts (B15,16,17,29,30,53) to add a cable guidance and the towing hook. It may not be perfect or correct, but to me it looks much better.

Welcome aboard, Rui!
During the last few weeks I made only little progress on the sWS. I screwed up the kit´s front wheels, so I added a set of Hussar Productions wheels, which fit without any issues. I also mounted the correct idler wheel and the tracks. Currently I´m trying to scratch a pair of rifle racks for the cargo bed.

The kit´s tracks are very nice and initially I planned to use them. Unfortunately it turned out that the difference in diameter between the spoked and the dish wheels prevented the track from sitting flush on the wheels. So I had to order a set of Friul tracks (sigh...) They look great and fit very good. The metal drive sprockets fit to the GWH kit exactly, but I´ll keep the plastic ones.
