...
And he enters the first curve in the lead and he looks like he's crossed the finish line, just waiting for confirmation from the stewards🤔

Did you use the Fujimi decals?

Sorry Matthijs, Just got home from holidays so a little bit late. To answer your question, yes i used the decals as delivered by Fujimi.

Too bad Fujimi also made a mistake with the Decals...The Numbers (27) are too small...(indycals.net/decals/f1/82ferrari126c2.html0

Well...almost every kit has it's flaws...even the more expensive Studio27 or MFH kits... Fujimi even enclosed wrong nose cones in 2 kits. I was lucky i had both kits so i could change them...

Lucky you didn't get the body with the uneven fairings around the the front suspension...Some early edition of this kit had this problem! i believe it was the "San Marino" edition

I have a MFH Transkit for that version...

Superb work, interesting that Fujimi used the given names instead of the last name or full name…

Thank you, Phil. Yes, but Fujimi did what Ferrari did in real life. So it's accurate. google.nl/search?q=1..jgD9gQ9QEwAnoECAoQIg

Hi Kars, do you have a holder/bit for grinding disks with that dremmel...i use that holder and two old wheels/rims of a Tamiya F1 kit 1 front 1 rear ...Most rubber tyres will fit and instead of grinding on the surface of the tyre, you can then spin the tyre with your dremmel and just use sanding paper pressed against it which will give you a smoother and more natural look on the running surface....you can also if you use a finer sanding paper just remove the center line, take a cloth and paint Thinner and create the fresh look before a warm up lap, practice etc by spinning the tyre on the cloth with thinner...its just a tip

No Mathijs, I was commenting to Kars (not you) on the fact I couldn't believe this was six years ago and how the time has flown by... Nothing to do with your comment, I didn't even read it.

Album info

My 1982 Ferrari 126 C2 Long Beach version as driven by Gilles Villeneuve is ready. I used a FMD etched set for this one. Like most Fujimi kits, the fit of the cover is very tight. Two days after finishing i heard Fujimi made a mistake with this kit. They swapped the nose-front wing of the Long Beach version with the one of the Monaco version and vice versa. Luckily i was able to make the corrections.
