Really cool Gabor.
What do you use for the rigging?
Cheers Robert

Gabor Szabo
Hi! It's fishing line - 0,15mm as I recall. The antennae thread is "easy wire".

Robert
Thanks, and how do you do the silver parts at the end of the rigging connecting to the strut?
3 February 2014, 11:45
Gabor Szabo
Thats simple: piece os insulator from a thin electric wire.

Hi Gabor, do you use Uni Caenis fishing line?
3 February 2014, 18:24
Gabor Szabo
No, I don't know that. It's name "Predator" 🙂 and I bought it in a local fishing store (black 0,15 for the 1:72 and a bit thicker for the 1:48 projects). The only product I ever used especially for rigging purposes was "Easy Line" (syntetic rubber) but that has it's own drawbacks, so I mixing these.

I use Caenis for my ship models. shipmodels.info/mws_..t=34990&start=15
Quite good and easy to handle for all straight lines.

Looks very convincing, I will try that. Thank You!

This one seems to be good too, but I did not use it untill now: modellversium.de/kit..42&origin=sparte
These monofilament is black and more flexible than Caenis. This one is highly recommended by my close mate Guido and I will try that too on one of my further projects.
