Holy Moly, interesting technique with a stunning result! By the way, in WWII the RAF used aluminium stripes to dazzle the German radar - you used it to cover your tank 😉

Hello,

nice that you like my wig for the Churchill 🙂.
She has now received new paint, I also handled the rubber chains.
I put the AK to the filter surface of the Churchill and the MIG for the side panels.

Next, I'll put highlights and install the decals.

In addition to the Chruchill I'm still working on a small DIO, so that the figures are at the Churchill come to validity.
For this I am still a figure from the Tamiya British Infantry set, a Dragon WH. Figure 2 and figures from the British tank Miniart Raiders set.
Today I quietly pulled off the highlight at Churchill's.
For this process I have chosen the color of life color UA 003 Olive Drab 41 Weathered, their hue of green will fit well with mine.
That I used to have two brushes, 2/0 and 5/0.
Before the painting and aging of Churchill's goes, I only had time to solve a serious problem.
As was found out the rubber tracks do not seem to tolerate the MIG Brownwash, after which the rubber tracks from Tamiya are treated, they were really brittle after 2 days.
This begins to usurp, I had to have other chains get, the Friul chains are very good but are offered too expensive, between 23 and 29 ?, because I still the AFV Churchill MK I III kit, I took because the rubber track I checked out and if it fits on the Tamiya kit, it has fit like a glove.
So I bought cheap, Hanke AFV Model 35 156 single link tracks, they arrived yesterday.

The chains were now primed black as in the rubber chain with Vallejo, after a day of rest I've applied MIG Wash Brown with the airbrush on the chains.
The result after the dry now looks even better, the way I have it.
I have begun a slight Pinwashing make.
For this purpose I have taken with Black and Brown Wash Thinner parts of the MIG and the tanks covered to be emphasized (eg. to the bolts).
With a pencil I have also indicated the place ever used.
Now the use of pigments begin to represent dust and dirt on the model.
For this example I have. migration of the three pigments with water and put in a bowl if diluted, which I put them with the brush on behalf of the model where the dust is down.
If the pigments are wet, they did look like a dark, after drying, they are lighter, thus I have previously applied the gloss layer, the pigments can be easily removed, for example. with a cotton swab as where they should not go.
Only then can then be determined by a pigment fixer fixing the pigments.
I need some help sometimes, the best of intentions I did not get out where the fuel filler flap at Churchill, and where would you put her in Chruchill oil stains?

Album info

Hello,

I am waiting for a new upper hull for my hunting panther, I have started a new project.
Where I want to show you this one is also a Hessian itself can make Carmouflag and do not get the Black Dog for the Churchill needs.
The construction of the Churchill is very easy thanks to Tamiya.
The production of the Hessian Carmouflag very easily.
In addition I have taken a stronger aluminum foil, and they only cut into strips and then turned it into small stripes.
Then I bought a Verlinden camouflage net and made ??it to the tower of the Churchil fixed with wood glue.
Later I then glued the strips fixed with superglue.
It took then a total of 12 hours.

Then I put gray vallejo primer and painted the model with it.
Next, I then Tamiya XF-61 Dar Green brought to the model and then gradually mixed with other Tamiya paints and paint.
