Operation Totalize Priest Kangaroo
A bit of minimal detailing in the drivers compartment. Added wiring and some front wall details. Cut the seat apart to make it a more detailed, different style seat
Replacement transmission cover fitted in.
Showing the hull fitted in after removing the bolts from it. Gap needs filled
Front shield in place with weld seams
LH shield made and detailed. Thought I was going to be able to use the kit part on the RH, have since realized its not tall enough as the M2 ring sill needs to be installed, so its getting replaced.
inside of LH shield.
Showing the hull after the gap has been filled.
Removed all the alignment and mounting marks from the front and started mounting all the equipment on the front.
MG puplit installed, weld seam added and new replacement side shield constructed
Working on the rear deck, lots of work to do on it.
Back deck vents made, still a bit of work to do to it. Attached it to the rest of the hull and added the rear fenders. Lots of work needs done on their joints though...
Back deck PE mostly done
Used a set of Dragon bogies to replace the kit parts and have the LH side installed. Also got the upper hull mounted. The kit isn't great at the seams and the modifications have also messed with some of the seams as well, leading to a bit of a gap at the bottom of the upper hull which was fixed with a strip of styrene.
Still have to work on the front fenders (sprocket isn't glued yet)
before primi
primed
Missed taking photos at several stages, here I am with a wash and drybrush and starting to do some weathering.
Leaving the middle of the front plate as "bare metal" It will be in a dio with a painter mid way through painting.

Very nice detailing job so far, I love it when a fellow modeler put a personal touch in their work! Those bolts on the side walls: are they PE or something else?

Thanks guys, this has been a fun one so far! @davide, the tops bolts are PE and the bottom 2 larger mounting bolts are plastic
