YouTube 48 Hour GB F-104G Starfighter ROCAF

Kinda what I'm going for. 

My 1/72 Academy F-104G Starfighter at the start of the 48 Hour GB. Robbed a ESCI boxing for the cockpit and took a Pilot from a Monogram F-4 Phantom kit. I have some spare Hasegawa cockpit decals. 

If I had known it would take this long to fit an ESCI cockpit into the early Academy kit I would have just started with an ESCI kit!! Will get it painted this afternoon which should give me plenty of time to clearcoat and add decals. 

Was hoping to have the main parts primed by now. Getting 'er done! 

Still have to smooth the seams on the main fuselage and wipe it down but the other items are ready to prime and paint. Guess I will have to get up extra early in the A.M. but I'm tired now. 

I didn't finish in time but it is almost complete. Just have to do up the cockpit, the pitot probe, slap the decals on and give it a flat coat.
