So after the Eddie Spitfire is as good as finished, I'm going to continue with this WW2 prop project here. Since I come from the home of the ME-109, it is now time to build one on a 32 scale.

Count me in. I can't decide between my Eduard BF-109E-4 Adolf Gallaland, or 1/32 Bubba Hartman.

I think I am going to do both. LOL. Started the Airfix BF-109E-4/E-1 this morning. I got the Cockpit done, but when I went to paint it the airbrush decided to start acting up, so it is getting a good soak in airbrush cleaner, will try again tommorow.

Both are looking good. Looking forward to seeing both results. I bet they will both be stunners.

I've this kit, so I'm very interested in your álbum and learning how to do it, moreover because it's a pure OOB build 👍

Thank you Clifford! Much appreciated!
Welcome Rui! The kit fits quite well. There are a few places where you have to rework: especially the area around the engine does not fit me perfectly. This is due to the modular construction (parts for the early and late version). All in all, however, everything is OK 🙂

Well Roland it's always good to be welcome, but I'm in since 24 October 😄
From the 2 versions early and late, wich version do you think has the best or easier fit?

Thank you mates!
@ Rui There is no difference in terms of accuracy of fit between "early" and "late". As said: it's not "bad" either. Just a little putty 🙂
@Murad Definitely! To get a better thrust-to-weight ratio, I glue two "F110-GE-400" under the wings of the 109 😄

I'm very excited how the other decal variant will turn out. Good luck, but I don't think you'll need it, as it looks pretty promising so far. 😉

Thank you Daniel!
Yes, it's a mask from AK. But there are also from Vallejo. I've wanted to buy it for a long time, but unfortunately it was always sold out. Recently I was able to grab one and test it right away. You save a lot of time and there are countless ways to influence the gradient. I can fully recommend them. Maybe a bit expensive, but who talks about money in our hobby?
Unfortunately not yet in the scalemates database, so here is an external link:
ak-interactive.com/p..ncil-1-20-1-24-1-35/
PS: Also available in 72nd scale

Thanks a lot Slavo! 🙂
Nice to see you are back in the game!
PS: I find the kit nicely balanced in terms of the details in relation to the effort. And of course a bargain for the price. What I particularly like about the kit is that, unlike the Eduard, it doesn't have these unrealistic, exaggerated rivets on the wings.
