The last one's too long ago, I made some of the same mistakes again. 😄
I should have painted the backside of some of the parts because they are visible, but only if you look at them at the right angle.
A bit of a quick build I started last sunday and finished today, so roughly just three days of work.
Quite a lot of parts to be painted and assembled. There is no glueing and sanding so most time went for painting.
Still struggling a lot with figure painting, though I think it went a bit better than the first two. I also need thinner brushed to paint details of the clothing. The figures are 1:24, reminds me why I mostly build my 1:72 jets without pilots. 😄
While the figures are still my weakpoint I made some other improvements. This time I didn't use any of the stickers provided with the kit.
The gold parts of the armor were painted with Tamiya Gold Leaf over a white base coat.
I don't think that I will prime yellow, green or red kits ever again with black... Maybe when it is necessary, though.
The green of the armor is too dark, it should be a bit lighter but I think it still matches well with the gold.
As the Spiricle Strikers of the Combat Revue are well maintened I decided against heavy weathering. This time there is almost no weathering or scratches at all due to the characters and Striker's style of combat.
Casting magic she would try to stay in the back and avoid getting close to the enemy.
Instead I did some pin wash and sealed everything with some gloss clear, avoiding getting it too glossy, like the others.
Not many WIP pictures, as it is mostly removing the parts from the sprues and painting them before putting everything together.
Well... I just forgot to take some. 😄

Yeah, it's a nice change of pace as most projects take many weeks or sometimes many months.
Also they are pretty easy to build, which saves some energy that could be put into other projects or dioramas perhaps.

Claris is one of the two foreign members of the Imperial Combat Revue.
A young woman from Louxembourg, she joined the Grand Imperial Theatre to become a writer and help defend Tokyo's citizens.
Descendant of a old bloodline of Libromancers (magicians) she uses magic and grimoires to fight and protect.
Her Striker does not use any conventional melee or ranged weapons but instead is modified to improve her own magicial abilities to cast magical projectiles.
