F-4B/N Paint Test

1/48 with custom low viz decals. Mid 80's low viz paint. True Details Mk. 7 ejection seat. Not opting to use ZM cockpit detail set as I'm saving that for the ZM kit. Before building the Tamiya 1/32 F-4J, testing out the paint scheme on this model. 06/08. Decided not to utilize true detail ejection seats. Building it out of the box. This model is a test bed for the low viz paint I'll be applying to an Tamiya 1/32 kit. I'm using Vallejo's modern navy model air set. Update: 6-25-19- I decided to build out of the box and test out the paint scheme and aftermarket decals. I need to use a lighter shade for the main color of the aircraft. Because of the age of this kit, the plastic is brittle and clear pieces warped. It took a heat gun and some moulding to get the canopy pieces to fit ok. Otherwise it's a fun project. The decals that came with the kit disintegrated in water, leaving a blank cockpit. But the build is serving its purpose. I need to add weathering and details after decals and another gloss coat. When I move on to the 1/32 Tamiya I should have the right color and decal combination thanks to doing this model first.
