Tamiya's venerable Sdkfz 223 in a desert setting, North Africa, 1941
The kit was painted with Tamyia colours and weathered with artist's pigments and oils. I tried to achieve a "mud" camo by smearing ochre pigments onto the grey base coat, but after several clear coats the effect somewhat disappeared.
The rocky base was made from plaster and sand and lots of diluted white glue.
