The first model of my latest projects was virtually finished and only needed a final layer of matt varnish. In fact it turned out that the combination of Tamiya gloss varnish, Hobby Boss decals and Tamiya matt varnish do not work properly together. I assume the varnishes were too old. I never had any problems with AK products. Another point is in my opinion the poor quality of the adhesive film of Hobby Boss´ decals.
In all the model is not lost - I will have to apply a new dark gray paint and need new decals which a friend of mine will create.
The kit is quite nice and goes together without any problems.
