Constructing Tiger I Ausf. H1 V1

Vorpanzer of the prototype Tiger. Designed it myself for 3dp 

First subject, V1's turret. 

Corrected the arrangement of the pistol ports 

Removed machined surface and recreated cast texture. I do see V1 using a Tiger P mantlet - open for debate. 

Removed all geometry related to the spring loaded couter weight system, rescraped hinge, added a bracket allowing for 90° angle resting position. 

yeah one lever is crocket, I'll have to fix it. Othere than this: replaced the levers with right ones from rfm 5001-U kit. Removed the studs around the cupola, rfm displayed the bolt heads as nuts. 

Slow progress, finished the lower hull area with new roadwheels 

Drive sprocket hub. Need to print two.... 

Initial style roadwheels without bolt retention taps accurate style rim and markings.

Rear wall almost complete, still missing the antenna socket 

engine deck is completed now. 

more pratice is needed with welds... 

Next to Räumer, I do like the base coat of the Tiger better compared to a traditional pre-shading.
