Eduard 1/72 Spitfire IXe
Here we go.
Lots of small, fiddly parts. Just as I like it.
Cockpit is more or less finished
The PE is a nice touch
Mocking up the fuselage to see how the cockpit fits.
And the cockpit fits great.
After the cockpit, the rest was easy. The fit of this kit is very good.
Did the underside of the Spitfire this evening.
Primed the Spitfire this morning
Gave it some yellow and sky paint this evening.
Most of the paintjob done this evening.
Turned out ok, some touch-ups needed
I used Ammo Mig and Tamiya paints.
Masked off the cockpit glass
When finished the cockpit and door will be open.
Ready for decals
Decaling done.
Spitfire pilots
Some weathering and the start of a vignette.
The Spit is finished.
Still need to finish the base and paint some pilots.
Started to paint some pilot figures.
Finished the pilots and a very simple base.
Both figures are of good quality and a pleasure to paint.

Im looking at my first 1:72 profipack for my next build if I can get one before they sell out. Following back.

Very good start, I can't wait to see what paint scheme you do. Gotta love those Eduards profipacks.

Thank you guys. Actually the most fun was to paint the pilots. They are 3D printet with very good details for 1/72 scale.
