This should be removed; if all sundry Letraset sheets are included (or even their normal letter sheets), there would be anarchy

This sheet has been in the database since 2018, and we're still here. No anarchy seen

That is so clever.

Okay. Let's start over.
I think you are trying to fix something that isn't broken. You might not have a need for, or see a use for, these decals. But others might be searching for something like this.

Items which are 99.9 % intended for other uses than modelling should be excluded. I've used pieces of lumber to bulk out parts of dioramas, does that mean we should have a section for wood? Talcum powder used to be popular to make paint more matt, so perhaps that is also a modelling tool?
The point is, there needs to be some restrictions on what should and should not be included.

i disagree, i see no reason not include this kind of decals , they can be quite handy for many modellers

Well, sides are lining up. I agree with Leif. I'm not knocking Letraset or other stencils; they are terrific but intended for other hobby or professional graphic arts use (largely replaced these days by computer equivalents). If your talking a handful of choice sets, well okay, include them here. But there are way more Letraset stencils than decal sets from any aftermarket decal manufacturer, and I wouldn't want a tsunami of them flooding in here.

I say keep them, you never know when they might come in useful, and what does it matter anyway? Martin's right, you're trying to fix something that isn't broken.

are we discussing this single one, or all Letrasets currently in the database?

When I had a look, it's the only one of this type that I could find. The other's are numbers/letters etc.

In reply to scm, my earlier comment was somewhat uninformed. I do see 97 listings for "Letraset", and most of them are specifically modelling (or at least scale drawing) related. Considering the enormous number of Letraset sheets that are out there, I should have realized that of course there's a subset of this type, and I would agree they should be included here. In the past I was more familiar with the tons of other Letraset sheets that are more applicable to graphic arts, signage, architectural, engineering and other technical drawings, mapping, chemistry and on and on. I would not want someone to say "What the heck, let's include ALL the Letraset sheets" - and no one has said that. Let's keep it that way. Considering the "Copperplate Flourish" sheet that started this discussion, well in my opinion it's borderline and (now that I'm more informed) I'm not going to get too excited one way or the other over one sheet,

The sheet that started off this thread is of course not a problem on its own. My comment was rather that I see it as the thin wedge of a possible future flood of Letraset graphics, if someone gets inspired after seeing it and others like it.

Like we've said earlier, you're trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist.

That was the whole point: head it off before it DOES become a problem. But I won't beat this dead horse any more.
