Some more pics, elevators are done, now vertical stab started. Don't worry about the slight whitening, it clears out as it drys, its a reaction between sol and future.

So while the decals are fantastic.. the guide to where they go is not so much..
So anyone who's following, please don't use mine as a guide, look at the real bird for guidance as I followed the guide supplied with the decals and in places they are a little off.
@ Roland, mines painted with Humbrol 88 (Deck Green), the guide calls out for 78 (Cockpit green)

Clifford, yeap, pair of 1:24 Airfix P-51's. One is recent, the other is a 1973 issue.. the 73 issue is far better plastic too

SpanjaardI remember the joy of the hobbydecal set for the Black Bunny. For what I see in the picture 19 this one requires a similar level of masochism... ah, the pleasure when you look at it when is finished!! 🙂
