Both the Revell 32 and even the 48 seem as good as this kit for a lot cheaper.

revell isnt bad for the money. and size. but that & the border arent even remotely in the same league.

That's not what I've read. The rivets seem to be totally incorrect. If you can scratch the Revell kit can look just as good

Really curious about what happened to this kit, there were test shots and everything over a year ago . . . and then nothing. If they still plan on releasing it, I will definitely be buying one . . .

I thought about the dio idea, but then couldn’t think of a time when armor would be near aircraft. I can’t recall a picture of armor in close proximity to aircraft, except, perhaps passing a crashed airframe. So not sure it matters. Please link a pic if you have any.

Well, yes more often you see softskins arround aircraft, but you can also see comunications or anti-arcraft halftracks and I've seen photos of a Tiger in the vicinity of a Fieseler Storch; a Panzer II near a Stuka; a tankete near a Me 109; a Universal Carrier Vickers near an Heinkel...

1/35, 1/32, I really don't care. I'm not planning any dioramas, I just want a well-engineered, detailed model kit without any major flaws. The biggest downside I see is that accessories like decals can't be used between the scales, but that's not enough to keep me from buying one. I'm in.

Uuugggg.... so they have a Lancaster at 1:32, but then go and release this in 1:35. Yes I know the difference is minuscule and 99% of people won't notice, but still. The bomber series has been established at 1:32, just stick to it.

Those old Monogram kits are great to build for nostalgic reasons but are very basic and inaccurate. They are basically, along with Tamiya, why I started building armor.
