So, if polite man is non political, hope to see one more politic free miniature from your POS company - "good russian on rest in Ukrainian black soil". A lot of photos could be found for your inspiration.

In terms of production, I'm not interested in current events. Perhaps I would only release a Russian paratrooper with a raccoon, as he would be a good fit for creating a series of static miniatures of a similar focus, along with this figure of a Polite Man with a cat. The same applies to the figure based on the Warrior-Liberator monument in Treptow Park in Germany, but I have already seen a similar miniature.

My next released figure should be a doctor in a hazmat suit at a COVID hospital. I want to capture the hard work of doctors during a pandemic, even if these figures turn out to be of no interest to fellow hobbyists and the project will bring losses. So far, figures of a doctor are planned in scales of 1/35, 1/16, 1/43 and there may be a bust of 1/10, but the bust is a big question.

I agree with you, this is just modellers community. And to be polite, you may just named this miniature like "russian soldier with a cat". I don't want to speak about politics here, but I'll never believe that you don't know what "polite man" means in whole world. No need this provocation.

Buratino, I could express my opinion about last year's releases of the modern Ukrainian soldiers and refugees figure sets from MasterBox or the Ukrainian soldier figure from ICM, but I don't do it. Why? Because my opinion is my opinion and it does not apply to this hobby. I advise you to do the same. Discussions about who's the bad guy and who's the good guy are taking place elsewhere online and offline. And we only choose what moment of history and in what key we want to reflect in our works and what semantic load to invest in these works, for this there are models and figures of both "bad guys" and "good guys".

Vladimir, you probably know that the photographs on the basis of which the first of the 2 figures was made were taken in Blagoveshchensk in 2015. This is the Far East in Russia. And the fact that you are trying to tie this figure to a political context is incorrect, just as the curses and ridicule of the authors of other comments are incorrect. For commenting on political topics and expressing your opinion regarding current or historical events, there are special groups on social networks where this is allowed and encouraged.
I do not write such comments under the releases of Ukrainian manufacturers, just as other Russian modellers do not. If you can't separate politics from our hobby, then why are you commenting?

This site may not be so neutral and allows statements on political topics, swearing, ridicule, malicious irony in the comments, but I, like many Russian modellers, believe that modeling should remain a politically neutral favorite hobby, and not an arena for showdown.
