I dont have many aircraft pre WWII, but I thought I would add a couple. These old Fokker aircraft were really good from what I read. So here we go.

The parts trees, some good details here but a lot of the parts are pretty small. Had a lot of trouble getting them off without breaking, and wasn't completely successful with it.

Both of the supports for the seat was broken, and it was very difficult to get them off the tree and back together again. same thing for the Machine Guns, one was already broken, and one of them broke as I took it off. I also seem to have lost one of the barrels because when I cut it off, it jumped and Im going to have to do some searching to find it again. I do like Dragon models, but I think this could have been a bit better engineered because the attachment points to the tree are far to thick and too close to the base of the tree for these small thin parts.

The top wing support was also already broken, like I got a box full of broken parts. Not sure how Im going to fix it yet. Really, I think these planes are too small for 1 48 scale, 1 32 would probably be better.

try cutting fine parts with a hot scalpel or hobby knife...I use a candle to heat the blade before each cut

didn't think about that, i seem to be able to get em off best with a pair of fingernail clippers. Got a big problem with the top wing though, as one of the supports is broken so I have to see if I can create a new one.

When I was putting the top wing on one of the struts broke in half and now I cant find the half of it. I may have to get a new model because I have been looking for that thin plastic part for months and it hasn't turned up yet. Good thing they dont cost that much.

Well, I found the part of the strut that broke and that was missing, got it glued back together. It seems though that the top wing is too heavy for the parts they included to hold it up because the parts seem to be somewhat bent from the weight after putting it on. So after almost a year, this one is back underways

So I got the wing pretty much fixed, but it is a little crooked due to that broken part, and I could not get it any straighter. The top wing seems to be far to heavy for the supports here, it maybe should have been 2 piece, being hollow in the middle may have saved some weight and made it not so heavy. Not sure, well, I got it painted as well. On the pictures it does not look like a solid color but almost like, well, not sure really what to call it, but what I did to get a look that was similar was to first paint it beige, then I went over the beige with an Olive Drab and purposely left brush strokes in it to give that striped look like it looked in the pictures I saw.
