Tiger I "Colmar"
German Heavy Tank

This is a replica of a German Tiger I that was captured and refitted by a French tank squadron called "Besnier's Autonomous Heavy Tank Squadron" - Besnier being the name of the captain who was in charge of the squadron at the time. This tank fought in the Battle of St-Nazaire alongside the 66th US Infantry Division under General Kramer and a number of French Resistance Fighters.
