Very nice model and a very sentiment in giving it to the original pilot.
I recommend changing the 'teaser' photo to one of the completed model, so that more people get to see this.

Album info

I did a replica of Ken's plane that he flew at the end of WW2. He was stationed in occupied Germany up to 46 flying the Spits. He is 97 today and I was able to briefly meet him last fall to give him a replica of his aircraft. Due to the pandemic I was not able to sit down with him to chat about some of his escapades.
