Another beautiful 1/48 scale Tamiya model - the Kubelwagen. This is built straight out of the box, with the only change being new license number, weight class., and Afrika Korps decals.
Painted using Tamiya and Vallejo paints. As I ran out of chipping fluid, the chipping is all handpainted. Weathering was done using AK enamel washes and oil pin washes, with the dust effect achieved by dry blending oil paint. The dust effect on the tires was done using a combination of dry pigment and acrylic washes.
I really enjoy building these kits - they are very well detailed, scale accurate, and sturdy enough to use for 28mm tabletop gaming.
