Nakajima Ki84 Type 4 Fighter Hayate (Frank)

Built as a two week group build project, this model was built and finished inside 14 days. Decals were no good, so all markings masked and painted (except the tail numbers, these came from my spares collection). Excellent kit from Hasegawa. Lots of detail, and no filler needed. Painted as per colour call outs from the Hasegawa instructions, I used Mr Color paints mostly, with some SMS and AK Real Color paints for the markings.
Only lightly weathered as this squadron was wiped out reasonably soon after arriving in the Philippines in late 1944.
