Yeah, I started making frames for my models because I needed a cheap way to keep the dust off of them. I'd prefer to make acrylic box frames but I can't afford it.

It can be a good solution for those who do not have enough space for cabinets. Filling the walls of the house with 3D pictures with airplanes seems like an interesting idea.
How do you attach the plane to the frame? You have more pics?

I drill 3 holes into the mounting surface, usually an acrylic mirror, and tie fishing line to the landing gear and thread it into the holes. On the back of the frame the fishing line is tied and super glued to toothpicks which are then taped in place and easily accessible if a repair is necessary.
