Hola, Sergio, you seem to be on a streak with your Landies projects! Just in case, two more ideas: Akrotiri MRT Land Rover (LM Decals LMX 0019, No) and RAF police Land Rover series II (LM Decals LMX 0008, No) Keep up the good work! 👍 👍

Thank you very much, Alex. In fact, LM Decals has raised some interest in me, as they are able to print in good quality some custom decals I would like to develope. You know, there are 4 Landie projects now, but there are 9 more Landies waiting to see the light... 🤣 🤣

I've been, personally, very satisfied with LM's custom decals, for all my little 1:72 vehicles projects... As far as the Akrotiri (Cyprus) RAF Mountain Rescue Landies are concerned, LM, in their site, suggests a Google search for photos of the originals - a bunch of them can be found on a Flickr account, if I remember correctly. I've saved them and if you are (or anyone else is) interested, I can send them by e.mail. Anyway - good luck with all your Landie projects - bring them on! 👍 👍

Thank you very much, Alex. If you could send me the link to Flickr or you remember the correct search for Google, let me know. I had found some mountain rescue photographs, but mostly referred to 1:43 or 1:76 diecast models. As I did not know the accurateness of these models, I did not countinue my search and discarded that project, but the idea still lives in my head, you know.

OK, I think I found it again - check this: flickr.com/photos/82..ms/72157716544007066 - or, as I said, you can send me in private your e.mail and I could send over the relevant photos I have saved.

By this moment is OK, Alex. I have noticed one thing: they had two hard top Landies but, one of them (the one in the right), seems like a last production series 1, could it be posible?

Errrr... I was under the impression that all (both SWB and LWB) were Series 2... but then, again, I'm by no means an expert... so I'd rather say nothing - and just be glad if this conversation helped you find some new material...

Well, maybe is the photo, but the roof seems a little "lower", as in Series 1 in the right side LWB Hard Top Landie. I am sure the Landie LWB Hard Top on the left is a Series IIa, as all SWB Landies, but the one on the left has raised some doubts in me.
Nevertheless, the idea of a SWB Landie could be another interesting and challenging project, as there us no comercial model available and seems more complicated as the Station Wagon conversión.
For a SWB, the chasis shall be shortened, as well as transmission and exhaust lines. In addition, rear side wings must be completelly different, so must be scratch-built, not modiffied as in the SW case. Looks very interesting.

Welcome, David, but I have to advert that I am not the faster modeler of the world.
