Thanks, gents. The template I used is for 32nd scale, so it looks a bit overscaled in real life - at least to my eye. But, it doesn't show that much on the pictures...

Still I like the final outcome - a nice refreshing change 🙂

Really great David. I really like these "not fully completed" builds. I agree, the wood grain scale is hard to discern.

This was a fun project.

I used a spray template from RB productions for the wings and that seems to work quite good. But the template was not useable for the fuselage, so I tried to use decals (from Uschi van der Rosten). That sort of worked, but one can see the print matrix from up close. I had to blend the edges between the plywood sheets with oil paints. It does look quite ok on the pictures - I was quite worried about it.

I used MRP paints for everything: Clear doped linen for the control surfaces, pale wood and ochre wood for the wings and titanium and steel for the metal sections.

For the interior, wheel wells and landing gear I used AMT-7. It not historically accurate, I know, but it looks quite nice 🙂

There is no weathering, because it does not feel right for this kind of approach.
