David AndrsThe wingspan is "only" 50 cm. B-17 in 1/48th scale has wingspan 65cm, for comparison 🙂 But, yes, this is a BIG project, not only size-wise.

JDI've never seen a kit like this before...looks like you could build the actual plane after this!

David Andrs@JD: Almost. It is true there is a very high level of detail, but some is most likely missing. I am not an expert on Nieuports, but my personal guess is the engine will be missing some.
But, I build for fun, so no problem with that 🙂
