Ideas

This is an idea that has just been percolating in my head for a while. Scene will require a diorama of the eastern front in WW2. Will feature 3 kits, plus some troops. Location and thus terrain will depend on which kits I select (a T-34/85 is not going to be doing a lot of fighting in Stalingrad for example)

UPDATE - Have decided on a Tiger I for the german vehicle. And picked up a Dragon late model for a very good price.

The other 2 kits will be of Soviet design. I'd like one to be a t-34 model, and perhaps the other an SU-122 or SU-85? KV-1 or IS also possibilities. Soviet tanks will have some infantry riding on them as they roll past the destroyed Tiger.

UPDATE - I'm still set on having one of the soviet tanks be a T-34 derivative, and my preference would be to build a T-34/85, just because aesthetically, I think its a better looking tank with its bigger gun and upsized turret. Now I know its going to be in 1:35 scale I can start looking for a nice kit. This also opens the door to me using an SU-85 as the 2nd tank rather than an SU-122.

UPDATE - Well, i've decided to go all in with the 1:35 scale, final size of the diorama be damned! #YOLO!
