Very nice!👍
The combination of vehicles is a good idea as it shows an important aspect of the desert warfare that time.

what's the purpose of the US Jeep in the diorama ?

Ulf Petersen
That is the aspect I pointed out in my comment: in the desert war all involved parties used every kind of equipment they could get so that you saw italian trucks in british service british tanks in german units or - in this case - an american Jeep.

Hello cortex471. Thank you for your interest
As usual the german army used all the captured equipment that they could put there hands upon, because of the cronic shortage of supllies they where suffering. Tunisia is a good example of that. The dio was inspired in the new atached photos (all the photos are from Tunisia: 10ª PzDiv (sdkfz 251) - Panzer-Regiment 7 (panzer II) - sPzAbt. 501 (Panzer III).

Very cool! And yes, during wartime, especially during WW II, people used whatever equipment they could get to get the job done!!

Stark choices in such times, survival requires a good deal of pragmatism 🙂

Fantastic Diorama, you know you've done a great job when it is difficult to tell the difference between the real thing and the model. Great work.
