I've been trying to get this kit or the AmTech kit for a while. What's it like?

Hello Ben. This is actually Amtech kit reboxed by Tamiya with their Kettenkrad.😉 So far the only parts I have glued together are wing halves and one X-4 missile. Based on that and test fitting of other parts, this should be a quick and easy project. That said,if you can get your hands on this one,go for it. 🙂

Thanks Veli. The kits are very hard to find and expensive for what they are (I think). Still, I'd like to do one in 1:48. Any in 1:72 aren't worth bothering with in my opinion.

I looked around Ebay for this kit and they are expensive indeed. I got mine from finnish hobbyshop. It was last in their stock. Aftermarket parts were last in stock in german online store. I guess I had luck with this one. 🙂

It was on the Uschi website and the guys comments were good, saying that it had been in his head for years, but can now realise his vision due to the excellent decals from Uschi. !

Most, if not all German prototype aircraft were constructed of wood in "Mock up", so to do some of the earlier jets they had with wood grain decals would be a fair call now. And I see that there are quite a few guys now doing the Horten 229 in wood, similar to my version, so I may have started a 'trend' LOL. 🙂
