The aircraft depicted in this Dogfight Doubles actually fought over the Falklands, with the Sea Harrier shooting down the Skyhawk with an AIM-9L Sidewinder.
The Sea Harrier is out-of-the-box, but the Skyhawk has been painted to represent the colours and weapons load carried the day these aircraft fought. By this time, the yellow panels suggested in the kit instructions had been over-painted in brown (possibly chocolate). I modified some Mk. 82 slicks to represent Spanish EXPAL BR-250 bombs that were in use by the Argentine Air Force, hanging from a centreline TER.
