I'm in. Beautiful plane.
16 May 2015, 19:07
Hanno Kleinecke
Thanks Christian and Ricardo, more progress soon, haven't had too much time to spare lately.... 🙂

Neue Bilder baldigst ! 🙂

Christian Meyerhoff
Sieht gut aus. Wie beurteilst Du den Bausatz ?
19 May 2015, 18:02
Hanno Kleinecke
Danke Christian !
Mal sicher kein Weekender.......😉

Christian Meyerhoff
Danke für die Info!
Das machst Du schon !

Hanno Kleinecke
Had my first go with Uv.d.R metal powders today - pure magic that stuff ! Easy application, just polish it, and it gleams ! Highly recommendable ! The props are ready already .....😉
26 May 2015, 21:34
John E
Wow, that is some intricate work. Nicely done.
27 May 2015, 02:43
Martien Lourens
That will be a lot of work with SMER. So far So good 👍👍👍
27 May 2015, 10:03
Hanno Kleinecke
Danke Dir !
27 May 2015, 10:04
Hanno Kleinecke
Thanks Mart, fortunately there are not too many parts..... 🙂

Cristian Bordina
Good work Hanno with this wonderful aircraft... I love so much this plane because the pilot (M.llo Francesco Agello) was born in my town. At today he still holds the record of speed for hydroplanes (709,202 km/h).
27 May 2015, 12:32
Hanno Kleinecke
Thanks a lot Christian ! Truely a beautyful example of italian aircraft design !
27 May 2015, 14:14
Holger Kranich
Wow Hanno, thats indeed a beautiful shiny prop!
Btw, before i saw ya in Munster, i thought you where older but you are just a youngster like me!
27 May 2015, 14:18
Hanno Kleinecke
Moin Holger, thanks ! That stuff is a real stunner ! And yes, I had to show my ID card last week when I tried to buy a beer in the pub😉 I bet that happens to you as well all the time .....😉
27 May 2015, 21:12
Ben STONE
Looking good Hanno. I'm guessing the wing you've painted is a test piece, doesn't look like it's from the MC72
28 May 2015, 00:23
Hanno Kleinecke
Thanks Ben! Yes you`re right, it`s a test piece on which I tried the three metal powder pigments on.
28 May 2015, 06:24
Hanno Kleinecke
Radiator surfaces primed with Alclad gloss black, and then sprayed with AK True Metal diluted in white spirit.
30 May 2015, 21:27
Ben STONE
Looking good Hanno. How did you go with fitting the struts?
30 May 2015, 22:24
Hanno Kleinecke
Thanks Ben ! At first the instructions lead me to fit the front struts in the rear and vice versa 😳 , I had to saw them off and fit them again, according to the foto refrences. After that they fitted fine, and I filled the gaps with CA and sanded where necessary.
31 May 2015, 06:47
Ben STONE
Yep, I had similar issues, instructions very vague what's what and where it goes
31 May 2015, 07:17
Christian Bruer
That looks really nice and clean so far. Just looking forward to the red paint!
31 May 2015, 17:53
Hanno Kleinecke
Thanks Christian ! So do I, but I decided to cover the True Metal Brass with some future before I mask it prior to
spraying the red. So currently it is drying time.......
31 May 2015, 18:08
Hanno Kleinecke
Finished at last ! Several painting " accidents" somewhat made the result less accurate than I wanted it to be........ The attempt to enhace the panellines wit black tempera resulted in tintnig through the future into the Red and white, so I had to do the whole nose all over again. A bit nightmarish in the end after a promising start.

15 June 2015, 16:34
Hanno Kleinecke
Thank you all mates ! @ Choppa, I used AK true metal which I didn't find very convincing.
15 June 2015, 16:58
Choppa Nutta

16 June 2015, 17:00
Hanno Kleinecke
Moin moin Christian, Danke Dir ! 🙂
Lok....... ?
16 June 2015, 18:22
Christian Meyerhoff
Also von der Honda hier:

Honda RC 166 Tamiya | Album by worldinscale (1:12)

Und von der LOK hier :

Bilder von der Macchi mache ich morgen.
