China Lake Navy Starfighter

In the Mid-'50's the U.S. Navy borrowed some F-104 Starfighters from the U.S.A.F. to conduct high-speed, high-altitude tests at Naval Ordnance Test Station (NOTS) China Lake, CA. Out in the Mojave Desert, but not too far from Palmdale & Edwards Air Force Base.
