Hunt for Red October Typhoon

I've wanted to build this since the book came out, even before the movie. The Red October had additional missile silos, so I have two kits to chop apart and re-assemble, to get the right silo-count. It also had the "caterpillar" drive - two soda straws, split and affixed in the proper location should do it.

I like doing "movie models" - I've done some before (the faux tank from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade), and plan to do more (Oddball's tank from Kelly's Heroes), (the "Old Dog" from Dan Brown's book, "Flight of the Old Dog"), including this one.
