I will build it with gear up, so here are the 30 required parts washed and cleaned up.

I will finish the simple cockpit with crew even though you can't see much through the small windscreen,

Figures are terribly molded and paint doesn't do much to make them better. Needed some life in the cockipit since posing in-flight.

Cockpit in place. There are very tiny windows in the Arrow so not much will show anyway.

Nose section joined to fuselage. Reviews of kit show that the length of both nose and fuselage are too short.

There was lots of patching on this kit. The seams did not line up well so needed to be levelled. Wherever there were internal bulkheads on the fuselage, there was a depression on the exterior of the fusleage that needed to be filled.

The shape of the fuselage is wrong as well. This is where the intakes will attach and there should not be such a pronounced buldge in the body.

The whole rear, with both engine exhausts, is one piece and doesn't offer up much detail.

Looking down the intakes for a couple of centimetres before blocked off, but it does show the shape of the wings.

Thanks everyone! I have been negligent at reading and responding. I just wanted an Arrow even though the available kits aren't that great. New to the hobby so every kit is a learning experience ( which I suppose will not change even with experience ) When I started I made of couple of armour kits and have more on the shelf, but have been drawn into the world of aircraft lately. I find it very different and find painting and finishing more difficult. There will be a lot of masking required on this one so I will see how it goes.

Alan, Hoping to see you finish this one and post more pics. I too built this kit in the original boxing when it first came out over 30 years ago, but recently got another to build a "re-do!" Album info

It is in the Canadian Constitution Act that every Canadian modeler must make at least one model of an Arrow in their lifetime. I was having anxiety attacks with the running gear of the Mark VIC from Vulcan, so decided to take a break with this kit.
