Hi Jospeh,
could you be so kind and tell me the exact details of the kit. I also have one in my stash (Academy 2119)

Thanks in advance

well I am not an expert on the Mig 29 but I will give it my best shot the surface detail is quite good in my opinion the recessed lines are nice not to deep and not to shallow the landing gear looks nice an accurate.

The cockpit on the other hand well it's not great but there is no resin replacement for the 2 seat version like this one but there is one for academy s single seat A version.

which I plan on doing that kit as well they say the exhaust nozzles are not very accurate but passable for an OOB build like I did this one but there is some resin exhaust nozzles available.

the decals are made by cartograf which is a plus. this kit does has some fitment issues you will have to fill gaps after the wings are glued the nose cone does not fit super well I had build up with putty in this area.

The intakes are the main problem where they meet the engine covers had to build up putty around these area's this kit does present a challenge to most but as you can see with a little hard work it turns out to be a nice looking addition to any collection.
also I did make a photo set of the whole build showing what I had to do on it so if anyone wants to see it then let me know and I will put it together in another album here.

And also on another note the box calls it a B Fulcrum but the decals represent a UB Fulcrum Russian Air force stationed in Armenia 2004 so it is probally a UB version like their previous version with the German markings.

Album info

Built straight from the box I could not find very many after market stuff for this version of the mig 29 but it was a good build but it had some fit issues here an there mainly the intakes. I used model master flat gull gray and forest green cause they do not make modern Russian colors only ww2 Russian colors so what iused matched close enough to what it was supposed to be.
