nice results...these are not Accurate Miniatures moulds...but Revell's own ( the revell logo should be found on one of the sprues )...I once bought the AM release of this on an Am price...would better have been the other way around 🙁 ...my pe set said " Eduard "

Thanks Christian yea these were some big planes I just purchased the Revell Germany me109 G in 1/32 and this helldiver in 1/48 is about the same size so now I can only imagine would it would be like if somebody was to make a helldiver or a sbd dauntless in 1/32 those things would take up quite a bit of shelf space and would be very very expensive.

Well Zimmer then I guess Revell did an excellent job with this one. I don't know how long this mold has been around but the recessed panel lines are very impressive in my honest opinion.

yea and I need to go back an weather it also but when it comes to ww2 fighters still learning. On jets I have it down packed. on the old prop planes it is a different ball game entirely.

Album info

this was a very nice kit might be one of the former accurate minitures molds. recessed lines fit was good had to use a some filler in the wing roots but that is about it the kit also came with a nice photo etch set by revel. markings are from USS Bunker hill 1945.
