built straight from the box however it is not all the way done yet still need to finish up with adding the antennas and wing tip lights and a couple other things this kit was not an easy build the cockpit tub was a little shallow and had to remove some plastic off the bottom of the seats in order to have the top glass fit and the decals were a little thick and did not stick very well even with the use of solvaset I had to use a lot of squadron putty around the windscreen an wing roots this is not a kit I would recommend to a beginner. but any way it turned out a nice looking bird and it is the only mowhawk in 1/48 scale unless you can still find the old testors kit and good luck trying to find that one.
