Kinetic C-2a Greyhound

Kinetic Northrup Grumman C-2a Greyhound. Kit took about 250 hours of work learning to model. This is my 1st monocoque model so a lot of learning involved. Used a blackdog E-2 engine as the kits are the same for the center wing outward. Also scratch built a prop hub, wxr under the nose(I had to cut off then add 85g of lead). And a few details like wires, hyd. lines etc.. also used some Paddington Hamilton decal, American flag decals, and resin wheels. Difficult kit for sure but came together really nicely and weathered heavily based on reference photos. Interior finished and closed up in 2019, and put away for almost 5 years before resuming. Tamiya paints and clears. Yes I ruined the cockpit windows. New to modeling so I learned that lesson the hard way, but what the heck. These planes are so filthy you hardly notice. And just notice the gear doors are on backwards. Will fix that when I get the chance.
