Spectacular!!
I`m impressed! Looks absolutely fantastic! Would you explain something more about your discovered specifications?? Because I`m still a great fan of ship hunter! 🙂
Hope I`m right in my interpretation of the Radar equipment and the role of this aircraft as a ship hunter?

Michael, can we read somewhere about your discovery? Years ago I've translated your text about late RLM 76 and it would be nice to translate another one for Polish readers😉

BTW, Michael, what paint you've used on this kit? Final effect looks like this dark blue on float from Bv 138 stored in Sola.

Lookin' good but odd...

Hi mates,
the float in Sola is an important next step to understand that the darkblue was much more in use then ever tought! I follow also hints to Ju 88 S-2 painted in RLM 24 over the Biscaja! I use RAL 5012 for my aircraft.

It seems we have dark blue not only over Mediterranean Sea but also over North Sea and over Atlantic. I'm not sure about Black Sea but with such broad use units flying over Baltic Sea should paint their a/c with dark blue colour too.

pushing to top, for Hyperscale visitors. As the link in one of the current articles is not optimal. Enjoy!

Michael, did you provided research support for AK Interactive with their new set of colours?

It is a nobrainer that dark blue qualifies as a cmo color for blue water theaters. I would be surprised if dark blue had not at least been evaluated by the RLM.
What I do not get is why it should have been called RLM83.
Also, I do not get why the very same folks that want us to strictly obey the RLM standards use the argument that the Luftwaffe at times did not really adhere to it - usually that happens whenever someone is pointing out inconsistencies in the alleged standards.😉

Hi, Michael. In my opinion looks RAL 5012 to bright and is to blue in hue. By looking at the Sola Floats,
the blue looks a bit more greenish. But, that´s my impression.

Without sampling and testing this float and few more artifacts we can't be sure.
